ICE Prospect

Brendan O'Donnell put up some impressive numbers during December for the Winnipeg Wild and has been selected the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League's Offensive Player of the Month, an award sponsored by the Western Hockey League. O'Donnell, a second year player and assistant captain, helped lead his team to a 7-1 record by scoring 11 goals and adding 11 assists in eight games. He also posted a +/- rating of +23. O'Donnell is counted on to play in all situations for the Wild and is a leader both on and off the ice. The 5-foot-11, 175 lb., forward is a draft pick of the WHL's Kootenay ICE and also plays as an affiliate with the Winnipeg South Blues of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
