The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club is pleased to announce that the Jersey off the Back raised $9,420 for the Kootenay ICE Education Fund.
On Friday, February 27th when the ICE hosted the Regina Pats, the game worn white jerseys were auctioned off in a silent auction. Forward Drew Czerwonka’s game worn jersey brought in the most money at $700 followed closely behind by Andrew Bailey’s jersey at $650.
The jersey winners will receive their jerseys at the conclusion of 2009 playoff season.
