ICE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS

Cranbrook, BC -- The Kootenay ICE are looking for volunteers to join their Game Night, Off-Ice and Usher Staff for the 2009-2010 season.

A Game Night volunteer assists the Game Night Coordinator in executing various promotions and game operations including, but not limited, to in-arena promotions and implementing on ice activities during each home game during the regular season and playoffs as well as a list of other duties such as sponsor representation and public relations. Ideal candidates would be mature College of the Rockies or Mount Baker students and young adults. They must possess a strong work ethic, excellent communications skills and be able to work well with others on a team.

An Off-Ice Official assists the Off-Ice Official Coordinator with various positions which may include statistics, goal judging and scorekeeping during each home game of the regular season and playoffs. Ideal candidates would be mature individuals with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and knowledge of the game.

An Usher will assist Fans in finding their seats, answer questions and be the first on the scene to deal with any incidents in their section. Ideal candidates would be mature individuals with excellent communication skills.
