ICE Signs With The Drive

The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club and The Drive 102.9 FM announced today they have agreed upon a new three year broadcasting agreement. The new agreement begins with the upcoming 2009-2010 season and will conclude at the end of the 2011-2012 campaign.

The agreement will continue with the same format as the past nine years with all 72 regular season and playoff home and away games being broadcast live. Jeff Hollick will remain as the Play-By-Play voice of the ICE for the eleventh consecutive season.

“We are very pleased to continue the excellent partnership between the ICE and The Drive. There are many individuals who are unable to attend our games and we are pleased to offer them the opportunity to stay connected with the team both at home and on the road with The Drive,” says ICE General Manager Jeff Chynoweth.

“We’re very pleased to continue our relationship with the ICE Organization. The Kootenay ICE are an important part of our community and we are proud of our commitment to bring local programming to our listeners,” says General Manager Rod Schween of CHDR – FM “The Drive”.
