Kootenay @ Kamloops Game #27

The ICE are in Kamloops tonight for their first and only meeting this season.
Last year in Cranbrook the ICE won 8-3.
The last meeting in Kamloops was Nov 24, 2007 and the ICE won 3-2.
Head-to-head the ICE have won 3 games in a row and 5 of the last 6 meetings. The only loss was in an overtime shootout.
The clubs have almost identical records ... ICE 11-13-1-1 Blazers 11-13-2-1.
Stats show the Blazers have had a better season scoring goals while the ICE have done a better job keeping them out.
Goals for, ICE 74, Blazers 86
Goals against, ICE 86, Blazers 122.
This is the start of a 5-game road trip through the BC Division.
2 years ago in games played on the road against the BC Division, the ICE had a 4-0-1 record but the 5 games were split up over 2 different road trips.
Defenseman Brayden McNabb will return to the line-up after missing 8 games to a knee injury.
McNabb earned an assist for Team WHL last night in a 4-2 win over Russia.
The game will mark the debut of new Blazer coach Guy Charron who is the 3rd bench bench boss for Kamloops this season.
Newly acquired goalie Kurtis Mucha could also make his debut tonight for Kamloops.
