Calgary @ Kootenay Game #33

The Kootenay ICE will host Calgary tonight.
This is the 3rd meeting of the season, the Hitmen have won by scores of 2-1 and 7-2.
Both teams are playing well as the ICE have won 5 of their last 6 and the Hitmen have won 4 in a row.
The ICE are tied for 7th place in the East Conference while the Hitmen are 1st in the Conference.
The Kootenay ICE have a couple games against the Hitmen this weekend and this is the one team they have had the most difficulty against in the past 3 years. In the last 16 meetings the ICE have won only 3 times.
The ICE PP has been deadly of late with 13 goals in their last 6 games.
Calgary’s PP has been lethal all year and is ranked 1st overall in the WHL.
The Kootenay ICE have won 7 of their last 10 games and have moved from last place in Conference and are now tied for 7th.
Calgary has been in 1st place in the Conference all year.
It’s the time of year where teams are affected by the World Junior Championships and Under-17 tournaments.
The ICE will not lose players to the events.
The Leagues' leading point getter Brandon Kozun and goalie Martin Jones while play tonight and then go to Canada’s camp.
It’s the annual A&W Teddy Bear and Mitten Toss night so don’t forget to bring them to the game.
