ICE vs Tri City Exhibition Game #4

Cranbrook, BC – The Kootenay ICE preseason record dropped to 0-4 with a 4-1 loss to the Tri City Americans.

ICE got on the board in the second period as defenseman Michael Simpson’s point shot was deflected in by Colby Cave who leads the club with 3 preseason goals.

Nathan Lieuwen started between the pipes and made 15 saves on 16 shots. Brett Teskey played the 2nd half of the game and made 15 saves on 17 shots.

After Jesse Ismond received a game misconduct for instigating a 2nd period fight the club played with 9 forwards and 6 were rookies. 3 of the 6 defensemen were rookies. 1 of the 2 goalies was a rookie.
