Fraser Fan convinces Dad to donate to Kootenay ICE Fan Star


Details L-R: Kootenay ICE left-winger Matt Fraser graciously accepts a gift of $1,000 from a smiling Tanner Swanson to be directed to help light a Kootenay ICE Fan star as part of East Kootenay Foundation for Health’s Starlite Campaign for Excellence in Health Care with supporting dad, Kurt Swanson and EKFH Executive Director Donna Grainger in on the fun.

Kurt and Tanner are encouraging other ICE fans to help Matt get to his fundraising goal of $5,000 before EKFH does its official star light up on Thursday, November 25. As of today proceeds for the Matt Fraser Shoot for the Star fundraiser total $3,615.91.

EKFH wishes to publically congratulate Matt on the recent announcement of signing an entry level contract with the NHL Dallas Stars. It appears that Matt’s stars are shining on a great future.
