Kootenay 5 Lethbridge 3 Game #71

Lethbridge, Alb – Drew Czerwonka, Brayden McNabb and Matt Fraser each had 1 goal and 1 assist in a 5-3 win over the Lethbridge Hurricanes in WHL action on Friday night.

Kevin King and Steele Boomer had the other goals.
Fraser leads the club with 35 goals.
Cody Eakin extended his point streak to 6 games. (4-8-12)

Czerwonka’s goal ended a 17-game goal-less streak and was the game winner.

Brock Montgomery returned after missing 11 games with a pelvis/hip injury.

ICE have 1 game left in the regular season and will host Lethbridge on Saturday.
The team will hand out their Year-End Awards before the opening face-off.
ICE will be raising money for the Cranbrook Men’s & Women’s Shelters as the team will be using blue sticks during warm up and in the first period of the game. The sticks will be auctioned off in a silent auction during the game behind Section U with all money raised being split between the two Shelters to aid in supplies.
