Kootenay ICE forward Matt Fraser scored at 3:55 of overtime in a 5-4 win over the Saint John Sea Dogs in Memorial Cup action on Tuesday.
With the win the ICE advance to the tiebreaker game on Thursday and will play the loser of Wednesday's round robin game between Owen Sound and Mississauga.
Replays showed that the play was just off side as Max Reinhart's skate kicked the puck into the zone.
