ICE Help Build A Playground

Cranbrook, BC -- Jeff Chynoweth, General Manager of the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club, today announced the ICE will be raising money to help bring a playground to Moir Park in conjunction with the Junior Chamber International - Kootenay.
On Saturday, November 5th when the ICE host the Red Deer Rebels, the team will be using white and green sticks during warm up and in the first period of the game. The sticks will be auctioned off in a silent auction during the game behind Section U with all the money raised going to the Moir Park playground project being put together by JCI-Kootenay. The winning bidders will receive their white and green sticks after the game from the ICE Players.
Tickets to the game on Saturday, November 5th at 7:00 pm are on sale now at the Kootenay ICE Office.

Moir Park Playground Facts:
-This will be the first playground in the area for kids to play while parents or siblings are playing softball or soccer
-It will include rope bridges and large fabricated rocks to climb on
-Total project is estimated at $75,000.00
