ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 15-5-1-2 record (10-3-1-0 at home, 5-2-0-2 on the road, 0-1-2 in overtime) and in first place in the CENTRAL DIVISION and third in the WHL...This week the ICE will continue their road trip through the BC DIVISION (PRINCE GEORGE - November 22, KAMLOOPS - November 23, KELOWNA - November 25) before traveling to the EAST DIVISION (November 30 - December 4).

IN STAND PUBLIC ADDRESS ANNOUNCER: The KOOTENAY ICE are looking for an in stand public address announcer or two...If you are able to talk on a microphone in front of a large crowd and have a fun outgoing personality call the ICE Office at 250-417-0322...The right individual or individuals will need to be available for all ICE home games.

SUPER SEVEN FLEX PAKS: The sale of SUPER SEVEN FLEX PAKS continues…You get seven game certificates to use at your convenience – total flexibility…SUPER SEVEN FLEX PAKS are available in Adult, Senior, Student and Youth packages. Adults are $119.00, Seniors $91.00, Students $77.00 and Youth $63.00.

SAVE ON FOODS: The 2011-2012 SAVE ON FOODS VOUCHERS are now available…Customers can purchase the ticket vouchers at the CRANBROOK SAVE ON FOODS location for all remaining KOOTENAY ICE regular season home games…Cardholders can pick them up for $19.00 including HST or for free with the redemption of 8,000 SAVE ON MORE points…Non-Cardholders can get their
vouchers for $21.00 including HST.

DID YOU KNOW: KOOTENAY is 5-1-0-1 when leading on the road after the second period, 0-1-0-1 when losing and 0-0-0-0 when tied...The ICE are 4-1-0-1 when outshooting their opponent on the road, 1-1-0-1 when being outshot and 0-0-0-0 when shots are tied...KOOTENAY is tied for 16th on the power play in the WHL at 19.8%...The ICE are tied for 10th in penalty killing in the LEAGUE at 80.0%...NATHAN LIEUWEN, who is second among goaltenders in the LEAGUE in goals against average (1.82), is second in franchise history for games played by a goaltender with 139 (JEFF GLASS - 143)...MAX REINHART is tied for second in the LEAGUE for scoring the first goal in a game with four...JESSE ISMOND is tied for fifth in the WHL for game winning goals with three...JOEY LEACH is tied for eighth in the LEAGUE in plus / minus with a plus 15...SPENCER WAND record his first WHL career point with an assist against VANCOUVER on November 20...ELGIN PEARCE recorded his first WHL career hat trick on November 19 in VICTORIA…JON MARTIN (TEAM WEST), SPENCER WAND (TEAM WEST), JAEDON DESCHENEAU (TEAM PACIFIC) and SAM REINHART (TEAM PACIFIC) have all been named to play in the 2012 WORLD UNDER-17 HOCKEY CHALLENGE in WINDSOR, ONTARIO from December 26 to January 4...MACKENZIE SKAPSKI is ranked fourth among goaltenders in the NHL CENTRAL SCOUTING PRELIMINARY RANKINGS.

INJURY: ERIK BENOIT will be out of the KOOTENAY line up one week with an upper body injury.

ONE YEAR AGO: After 23 games of the 2010-2011 season the ICE were 16-5-0-2, after 24 games 16-6-0-2 and after 25 games 16-7-0-2.
