Swift Current 2 Kootenay 1 Game #30

Swift Current, Sask – The Kootenay ICE have lost 3 games in a row for the first time all season with a 2-1 loss to the Swift Current in WHL action on Sunday night.

The ICE trailed 1-0 after the first period and the best scoring chance was Brendan Hurley hitting the cross bar on a Jon Martin rebound.

The ICE hit the goal post 2 more times in the second period but eventually got the game tying goal as Max Reinhart outworked 2 players to get the puck to Sam Reinhart in the slot who was stopped by the goalie and Jesse Ismond put in the rebound.

The ICE have now played 14 home games and 16 road games.
They have 4 games left before the X-mas break.
The ICE will host Medicine Hat on Friday.
