Ryan McGill 2.0

The ICE will travel to Edmonton today and will open the WHL regular season tomorrow night against the Oil Kings.
This will mark the return of Ryan McGill as the Heach Coach of the ICE who was originally with the club when they started in Edmonton and their first 4 years in Cranbrook
He was an Assistant to Dave Siciliano and took over the Head Coaching job 10 games into their second season.
McGill is #2 in ICE career regular season wins with 174 (209 Cory Clouston)and #2 in regular season games coached at 350 (360 Cory Clouston).
He is #1 with 42 career playoff wins and 61 career playoff games coached.
Plus he is first in team history with 2 WHL Championships, 7 career Memorial Cup games, 3 Memorial Cup game wins and 1 Memorial Cup Championship.
From 2002-05 he was the bench boss for the NY Rangers farm club in Hartford, 2005-09 the Head Coach of the Calgary Flames farm clubs in Ak-Sar & Quad City and an Assistant Coach with the NHL Flames from 2009-11.
He was the Western Conference nominee for WHL Coach of the Year 2001-02 and lost the award to Bob Lowes of the Regina Pats.
