Spokane, Wash – The Spokane Chiefs scored 4 third period goals in a 6-3 win over the Kootenay ICE in WHL action on Saturday.

The Chiefs (41-25-2-0) opened the scoring in the first period on the powerplay with defenceman Jason Fram scoring on a shot from the middle slot that went off the goalies’ shoulder and into the net.

The ICE (33-33-2-0) tied the game in the second period on a powerplay rebound goal by Brock Montgomery.
Montgomery is 2nd in the WHL with 18 PPG.
