Tri City 4 Kootenay 1 Exhibition Game #1

Kennewick, Wash – Tri City goalies Evan Sarthou and Troy Trombley combined for 31 saves in a 4-1 win over the ICE in Kootenay’s first exhibition game of the WHL preseason.

Kootenay opened the scoring on a 1st period goal from Jon Martin with former American defenseman Clint Filbrandt earning an assist.
ICE starting goalie Wyatt Hoflin went the distance and made 35 saves including 17 in the 2nd period.

The ICE had no over-agers in the line-up while the Americans used three.
Defenseman Landon Peel left the game early in the 1st period and didn’t return.

The ICE will play Spokane on Friday afternoon.
