ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 12-10-2-0 record (7-6-0-0 at home, 5-4-2-0 on the road, 0-2 in overtime, 2-0 in shootouts) and tied for sixth place in the EASTERN CONFERENCE...The ICE will play four of their next five games at home before embarking on their BC DIVISION road trip (December 3 - 10).

BELIEVE IN THE GOLD: The KOOTENAY ICE are teaming up with BELIEVE IN THE GOLD to raise money for childhood cancer...On Saturday, November 23rd when the ICE host the BRANDON WHEAT KINGS the team will be playing with sticks that will be auctioned off behind Section U during the game...The winning bids will have the opportunity to meet the player and have their picture taken following the game.

PEPSI KIDS CLUB: Registration for the PEPSI KIDS CLUB is underway…Kids from five to 12 can sign up to be part of the KIDS CLUB and receive a punch card to attend eight games for only $5.00…The events this year will include skating, tobogganing and a movie…Cost for each child is $17.00 and forms are available at the Kootenay ICE Office…Registration deadline is Friday, November 22nd.

INJURIES / TRANSACTION: Goaltender MACKENZIE SKAPSKI (lower body) and Forward ZACH MCPHEE (upper body) will both be out of the KOOTENAY line up day to day…Forward KYLE O'CONNOR will be out of the ICE line up one week with a lower body injury...Defenseman TANNER FAITH will be out of the KOOTENAY line up two to three weeks with an upper body injury...The ICE have added 17-year-old Goaltender JAYDEN SITTLER (January 23, 1996) to the line up until November 20th (RED DEER OPTIMIST CHIEFS - AMHL).

ONE YEAR AGO: After 24 games of the 2012-2013 season the ICE were 8-15-1-0, after 25 games were 8-16-1-0 and after 26 games were 8-17-1-0.
