ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 8-7-2-0 record (5-5-0-0 at home, 3-2-2-0 on the road, 0-2 in overtime, 2-0 in shootouts) and tied for sixth place in the EASTERN CONFERENCE...The ICE will play three out of the next four game against the CENTRAL DIVISION.

PEPSI KIDS CLUB: Registration for the PEPSI KIDS CLUB is underway…Kids from five to 12 can sign up to be part of the KIDS CLUB and receive a punch card to attend eight games for only $5.00…The events this year will include skating, tobogganing and a movie…Cost for each child is $17.00 and forms are available at the Kootenay ICE Office…Registration deadline is Friday, November 15th.

DID YOU KNOW: The ICE are fourth in the WHL in overall power play (26.2%)...KOOTENAY is sixth in the LEAGUE in overall penalty kill (82.0%)...The ICE are 7-2-1-0 when scoring the first goal of the game and 1-5-1-0 when their opponent scores first...SAM REINHART and JAEDON DESCHENEAU have been named to TEAM WHL for the SUBWAY SUPER SERIES (NOVEMBER 27 - RED DEER, NOVEMBER 28 - LETHBRIDGE)...SAM REINHART, who is fourth in the WHL in points with 28 (9-19-28), is fifth in the League in assists with 19...JAEDON DESCHENEAU, who is tied for first in the WHL for scoring the first goal of the game with four, is tied for fourth in the League with 13 goals scored...LUKE PHILP played in his 100th WHL career game on November 3 against TRI-CITY...JAGGER DIRK recorded his 100th WHL career point with an assist October 30 in RED DEER...MACKENZIE SKAPSKI played in his 100th WHL career game against the REBELS on October 30.

INJURIES: Defenseman TANNER FAITH will be out of the KOOTENAY line up four to six weeks with an upper body injury...Forward ZACH MCPHEE will be out of the ICE line up an undetermined amount of time with an upper body injury.

ONE YEAR AGO: After 17 games of the 2012-2013 season the ICE were 4-12-1-0, after 18 games 5-12-1-0 and after 19 games 6-12-1-0.
