ICE Weekly Report

ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 6-13-0-0 record (5-4-0-0 at home, 1-9-0-0 on the road, 2-0 in overtime, 1-0 in shootouts) and in sixth place in the CENTRAL DIVISION...KOOTENAY, currently on a three-game winning streak, wraps up its six-game home stand November 14 versus CALGARY before visiting LETHBRIDGE November 15.

FAMILY SUNDAYS: Bring the whole family to a KOOTENAY ICE game with our new FAMILY SUNDAY offer...At each Sunday regular season home game, fans can purchase four tickets, four regular soft drinks, and four concession food items (hot dog, pizza slice or small popcorn) for $52.00...Children under 12 can also eat for free from the COYOTE JACK'S RESTAURANT Kid's Menu on FAMILY SUNDAYS when dining with parents...The first FAMILY SUNDAY of the season is November 23 when the ICE host MOOSE JAW... MOVEMBER: The ICE along with the CANADIAN HOCKEY LEAGUE are growing moustaches to raise money for PROSTATE AND TESTICULAR CANCER as well as MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGES...Fans can donate to the cause by visiting www.movember.com and searching KOOTENAY ICE...Last year, the ICE and 38 other CHL clubs raised over $157,000...Follow the ICE Twitter and Facebook accounts for updates all month long.

SUPER SEVEN FLEX PAKS: SUPER SEVEN FLEX PAKS are now available to purchase at the ICE Office…You get seven game certificates to use at your convenience – total flexibility...Adult FLEX PAKS are $140.00, Seniors $112.00, Students $98.00 and Youth $70.00.

PEPSI KIDS CLUB: Memberships for the PEPSI KOOTENAY ICE KIDS CLUB are now on sale...For only $17.00, kids aged five to 12 receive an official membership card, gift, and punch card enabling them to attend up to eight ICE home games for only $5.00 per game...KIDS CLUB members also receive exclusive access to three events (Skate with the ICE, Tobogganing with the ICE, Movie with the ICE) this season.

ROSTER UPDATE: KOOTENAY is currently carrying 23 players (two goaltenders, seven defensemen and 14 forwards)...The ICE roster is made up of three 1994-born players, nine 1995-born players, four 1996-born players, five 1997-born players, and two 1998-born players...KOOTENAY has seven first-year players on its roster.

DID YOU KNOW: Forward SAM REINHART is tied with STEVE DASILVA for fourth in franchise history in career goals scored with 103...REINHART is eight assists (154) behind JARRET STOLL (162) for the ICE franchise lead in career regular season assists...REINHART will serve as captain of TEAM WHL for the SUBWAY SUPER SERIES November 10 in SASKATOON and November 11 in BRANDON...Forward JAEDON DESCHENEAU will also represent KOOTENAY on TEAM WHL while Defenseman RINAT VALIEV will skate for TEAM RUSSIA...KOOTENAY improved its all-time record in shootouts to 37-28 November 8 against the BRONCOS...DUSTIN SYLVESTER holds the ICE team record for shootout winning goals with five.

TRANSACTION / INJURIES: KOOTENAY has reassigned Forward JARED LEGIEN (September 2, 1998) to the MOOSE JAW GENERALS of the SASKATCHEWAN MIDGET HOCKEY LEAGUE...Forward JON MARTIN will be out of the ICE lineup one to two weeks with an upper body injury...Defenseman TANNER FAITH will be out of the KOOTENAY lineup two to four weeks with an upper body injury.

ONE YEAR AGO: After 19 games of the 2013-14 season the ICE were 9-8-2-0, after 20 games 10-8-2-0 and after 21 games 11-8-2-0.
